How It Works:
Here is an idea that isn‘t as daft as when you first read it.
Create an individual for the class who is adopted- Younger than the class you are working with. (You can make up a name, picture, info etc!)
Doing this will give students an opportunity to explain or reflect on their work and understanding- which will be highly beneficial.
In pairs or groups, at the end or start of the lesson get students to explain their work, key terms, process, theory, etc. skill to their ‘___ year old brother/sister.'
I.E in a way, that they should understand and knowing they have not been present in the lesson...
